- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 5/8 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1-2 Tbs lavender (flowers or dried; amount depends on your taste)
- 1 tbs milk (I used almond milk; it was needed near the end to moisten the batter a bit)
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 °F and grease a cookie sheet.
Step 2: Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat the egg separately, and then blend into the butter & sugar.
Step 3: Mix in lavender and flour.
Step 4: Drop batter by the spoonful onto cookie sheets, leaving a few centimeters in between each dough blob, and shape as desired.
Step 5: Bake 15-20 minutes (until golden brown).
Step 6: Remove cookies to cool; you can sprinkle with some decorative sugar or more lavender if you like. Serve and enjoy!
