Ingredients
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup horseradish root, grated
- 1 head of garlic, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup of ginger, grated
- 1 cayenne pepper, fresh or dried
- 1 lemon, chopped
- 1 quart organic apple cider vinegar
- 1 sprig rosemary
- (Some recipes add fresh turmeric root, an orange or other hot peppers)
Directions
Step 1: Place herbs in a quart jar and cover with apple cider vinegar.
Step 2: Cover tightly with a non-metal lid (or put a piece of plastic or waxed paper between the jar and metal lid).
Step 3: Infuse for a month, shaking daily.
Step 4: After a month, strain and rebottle into a clean glass jar with a plastic lid.
Step 5: Add honey to taste.
