Description :

Joe Pye Weed is easily grown in average, moist but well-drained soils in partial sun. This plant is characterized by its pink/purple flowers, deep red stems, and slight vanilla scent. Joe Pye weed is used for pink and red dyes for textiles, but is often planted for ornamentals.
