Description :
Foxglove is easily grown in moderate, moist but well-drained soils in full sun. This plant is characterized by its bunched purple/pink tubular flowers and can grow anywhere from 2 – 6 feet tall. Foxglove is usually grown as an eye-catching addition to flower gardens. It is also grown for distillation for the heart medication Digitalis. It is highly toxic, and is not recommended for ingestion or medicinal use without close supervision, as its medicinal dose is extremely close to its lethal dose.
