Common Name Latin Description
Arnica Arnica chamoissis Arnica oil is used externally as a powerful healing agent for bruises, inflammation, and muscle aches.
Calendula Calendula officinalis Calendula oil is used externally as a powerful healing agent for abrasions and dry skin conditions.
Cayenne Capsicum frutescens Cayenne oil can be used for lower back pain, muscle aches and arthritis pain. Cautions: Cayenne oil contains capsaicin, which causes a normal, non-damaging burning sensation.
Comfrey Symphytum officinale Comfrey root oils have historically been used to heal wounds, and soothe bruises and broken bones. Do not use on dirty or open wounds.
Dandelion Taraxacum officinale Dandelion flower oil is used externally as a stimulating healing agent for lymph and breast tissues.
Rose petals Rosa canina Rose petal oil is used externally for soothing and softening the skin. depression, nervous conditions, anxiety
Plantain Plantago major Plantain leaf oil is used externally for restoring damaged and dry skin.
Mullein Verbascum thapsis Historically used with Garlic oil for pain and congestion in acute ear infections, or for softening excess earwax. Not for use with perforated ear drum.
St John’s Wort Hypericum perforatum St. John’s Wort flower oil is used externally to help speed the healing of bruises, varicose veins, sunburns, and bee stings.
Chickweed Stellaria media Chickweed and Lavender are used together to soften and soothe dry, itchy skin conditions.
