Lovelight has medicinal and culinary herbs!

A passionate herbalist, Nicki Nielson and her husband founded Lovelight in 2013.  Focusing on medicinal and culinary herbs, Lovelight has the perfect combination of the popular cooking herbs that we need to bring dishes to their max, and long lost medicinal herbs spanning cultures across the globe.  

Lovelight ships live medicinal and culinary herbs!

In addition to hundreds of varieties of herbs, Lovelight is offering live plants!  This means that Lovelight can take a lot of the work out of growing herbs and set you up for success. Light plants are packaged and shipped carefully to ensure minimal shock to the plant and a jumpstart right when the plant arrives!

Education is a priority!

Lovelight is passionate about educating the public about the colorful history, medicinal and culinary uses, and all about growing medicinal and culinary herbs.  We have lots of resources available and are eager to answer any questions. Our website and Etsy listings are full of useful plant profiles that can educate and help you be successful whatever medicinal or culinary herb you’re planning to grow!

We have nourishing herb and food products!

We’ve taken it one step further and now offer seasonal herb and food products.  This means that you can have the expertise and time invested by us to have hand-crafted products that can up your beauty game, are delicious, and fun!

Lovelight is committed to providing our plants, seeds, and products from plants that are grown with love.  We use organic processes and lots of hard work to provide the best quality products for added peace of mind!  We are passionate about growing abundantly, but safely!  We take quality seriously and you’ll never have any worries about our seed, plants, or products!

Whether it’s donating to local organizations, teaching classes on dozens of topics, having open houses, or welcoming volunteers on the farm, Nicki and John have embraced a community mindset.  This means that while you may not have the resources, land, or time, they welcome you to share what and when you can.  Especially if you’re starting out, Lovelight is a great place to steward your love of medicinal and culinary herbs.
